ABOUT US

Baywell

Baywell is a small professional yard, which is run by Amy & Rob. The yard has super facilities which include; hot wash box, 11 12x 12 indoor stables, secure tack room, feed and storage areas, horse walker, outdoor 30 x 50 school, securely fenced turnout, lorry parking and direct access onto bridleways.

We offer individual packages to cater for all horses needs.

Amy Harris

I have studied at Hartpury college doing an Equine business management diploma, in which I gained a distinction triple star. After college I have worked in the industry for a couple of professional riders doing eventing and yard management.

I compete my own horse Bachelor Boy at intermediate level in eventing, with the aspirations to continue to move up the classifications, I additionally show jump currently jumping at fox British show jumping. My other Horse Silver Wood Rebel is a 5 year old which I hope to produce to event alongside.

I currently compete and ride for a couple of clients in both disciplines, I am looking for new clients and owners to help me pursue my career in eventing.

Rob Hedges

After gaining distinctions in Equine Science I went on to work in racing for two years with J G O'Niell. During my time there I learnt how running a yard to suit the needs and requirements of others worked. How to work alongside others and how to quickly grab a kneckstrap when your horse tries to catapult you mid gallop! Since then I have been working part time for event and dressage riders Owen Cooper and Katie Richards.

I am very into and involved in the showing community having won at national on my 6 y/o Traditional Bred King Bleu whom I have owned and produced since he was a yearling. We took the Large Gelding title at the national breed show TOYS 2016 and went on to become reserve champion.

I am very much a Hunting and Bloodhounding fanatic! there is nothing I love more than watching hounds work and meeting the standard of etiquette and turnout expected on the field.
